Not many bikes are labeled as the best pedaling full-suspension 29er when they first come out. It’s since won awards from MTBR.com, Mountain Bike Action, and many more. So what did the smart guys at Pivot do for the current generation?
They made it lighter and stiffer. Yeah, so the two things everybody asks for both got taken care of. It’s got all the cool stuff, dw-link® suspension, Fox Adaptive Logic RP23 shock with Kashima coatings, 4″ of rear travel, 100mm or 120mm fork capatibility, 1.5″ head tube for some good ol’ fashioned stiffness.
Honestly from a bang for your buck standpoint it can’t get much better than this. You can easily be in the 26 pound range for a very honestly equipped do everything well, roll over anything, smoke your friends generally cool bike.
